libesedb1 software package provides Extensible Storage Engine DB access library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libesedb1
libesedb1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libesedb1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libesedb1 *
You will get with libesedb1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
